Throwing Large – One Day Pottery Course with Roberto Gagliano

This course is designed to elevate your pottery skills and introduce you to the art of throwing large pieces on the pottery wheel with the Roberto Gagliano putting an emphasis on the wide shapes. Roberto will begin the class with a comprehensive throwing demonstration, followed by personalised assistance, supervision, and advice. You will receive full support throughout the day.

Our studio is 700 square feet and is equipped with 12 pottery wheels, two large workbenches, and two spacious worktables, providing ample space for everyone. Each participant will have their own wheel and workspace for the day—no sharing required!

We supply all the materials needed for the workshop, including decorating supplies, aprons, hand washing facilities, and towels.
The studio also features a kitchen with complimentary refreshments, tea, coffee, and biscuits. A Nespresso machine is available, as well as a shop for soft drinks.

Eligibility:

• The course is open to anyone with some pottery wheel experience. Participants should be able to centre clay and work with a minimum of 1 kilo of clay.
